Get your and baby's stuff together. If he doesn't have his own stuff packed by the time it's time to go...well 🤷 his own fault.

@bodybycheetos He has no idea what to bring lol that's the only reason I'm even using energy trying to explain the actual importance of being prepared. He wasn't around for our daughter's birth so he didn't have to worry about packing a bag and he hasn't experienced the labor part or anything yet.

Lol a pair of sweats to sleep in, maybe some snacks, and something to wear home. The men don't have to worry about packing all the fun things 😂

Tell him to pack some gum and give you a piece when your contractions start getting stronger (and replace when needed). Best thing ever when I was in labor.

@bodybycheetos That's a great idea! I didn't know you were allowed to have gum. I remember all I wanted was cold water but it wasn't allowed, just ice chips. Since he wasn't there I had my dad with my for my daughter and the best thing was he kept putting a cold washcloth on my forehead. I told him talk to my dad bc my father was an awesome coach during my 1st labor which is funny, my mom said he was horrible when she had me 😂

@emily526 it helped me so much. I got to 7cm before finally getting an epi. It could be different at the hospital where you deliver, but I asked and since I wasn't eating anything my Dr and nurses were okay with it. I went through a whole pack of gum 😂

@bodybycheetos I was lucky my 1st labor was quick and I had no epidural or any tearing at all. My husband keeps saying he's got this but I'm like 🙄 do you even know how to get to the hospital? Feels like this 2nd labor will end up being a circus act with him involved lmao

I have the baby bag packed already due to preterm labor I have to get mine together

My husband forgot our bags and carseat before lol

@ambrerumph1440 I am afraid my husband will forget everything since he is new at this. He's like what could we possibly need? Then I had him Google it and today it looks like he's finally getting it together 😂

@emily526 that's how my husband was I was at home went intlo labor by the time the ambulance got there I said grab these bags and the carseat he said OK I got it got to the hospital he had nothing send him home and still forgot it I was mad
