Is a changing table necessary ? I was thinking about just having a mat 🤦🏻 ♀

I've never used my changing table once... I use my changing mat all the time x

We’ve brought both, will be using the mat downstairs and having the changing table in the nursery as it matches the cotbed, wardrobe and drawers. But tbh the changing table won’t be used that often so if it wasnt for it being part of the set I think we’d have just brought the mat lol x

I have a mat upstairs and downstairs, on Kai's drawers in his room there's a space on top for one 😁 xx

Just a mat is fine! We had one built into my sons chest of drawers and never used it.xx

Don't get me wrong I love our changing table but no it's not essential. I rarely use it during the day. Even as newborns I often changed the boys on the bed lol.

I just had a mat and kept it beside the sofa out the way x
