Orientation tomorrow is grave yard a bad shift if you have kids? They brought it up and it’s a maybe but I think I’m going to try to get a second shift position

I wouldn't mind gravy yard you get the day with the kids without trying to get off

@momof2prince, that’s what I was thinking plus hubby got a second job so it would mean our schedules wouldn’t clash to much just sleep would be hard

As long as you can get yourself on a good and regular sleep schedule, it's way better than working 2nd shift. Especially if you have school age children. I won't do second because then I would never see my kids.

@dass72608, my kids are still little so hopefully I can sleep a little

@km416 just try to sleep when they do. I will tell you that for me, broken sleep is harder than no sleep...but it's a learning curve and you can definitely find a way to make it work. I just went back to 3rd shift this week and my oldest son just got a job, so I don't have much help with my almost 3 year old during the day so I can sleep 😥😥😥 but as moms we can always find a way to make it work!

I enjoy it

@chickentaco, is it hard with your toddler when you sleep
katarina·
@dass72608, yeah I was thinking of putting up the play pen so if I’m asleep the baby won’t fall off

@km416 no not at all. it took me like 2 weeks to fall in a good schedule or routine. I worked 4am-1pm
now I'm 6pm-2am
