Have any of you traveled in an RV with a baby? We're flying up to MN to spend the 4th of July with my mom, and we're doing a road trip back home. We'll be taking their RV over to MT to drop off some family and then we'll make the drive down to TX. I'm not sure where my son should ride in the RV. The only forward facing seat is the front seat, the seats in back are sideways facing. I'm not sure where's the safest place for him to be. Anyone have any advise/experience?

I know the sideways facing seats are completely unsafe. My husband and I were looking into safety and RVs once and those aren't ok to put a car seat in. It is tough, we actually decided to put off buying one because the car seat safety is a big issue.

Yeah, it seems so strange to me that the front seat may be the safest option for the car seat!
