I think that whichever diapers people use, my best advise is to use the right size. Since you get more diapers the small the size, parents do not like to move up in size. However, when the diaper is too small, there is a better chance of leaking and they need changed more often. It is cheaper probably to buy the bigger diaper and not have to do as many changes.
Thank you ladies for your responses! I greatly appreciate them all! With my first dd we used Pampers and then switched to Huggies because she was getting rashes. We would have to use Aquaphor at every diaper change. With my second we stayed with Huggies and she’s never had one rash. With this baby coming we’ll stick to Huggies unless she or he ends up with a reaction. Huggies tends to be less expensive in our area too.
It really depends on the baby. Huggies didn't work for my son. Pampers worked great. We actually prefer Target Up&Up brand though. Luvs seem so cheap and don't seem to stay on.
I preferred Pampers, especially the Little Swaddlers for little babies. Although, I did tend to shop around for the best prices and would often buy Costco brand or Target brand. My least favorite were the Luvs they had a tendency to rip open a lot.
