@mvbreaux, aww mine will be 2 in February lol so I’m letting him nap as much as possible because I’m October we will have baby number two here

My son also takes a 2-3 hour nap, I’m dreading the days when he decides he doesn’t want to nap anymore! (He’ll be 2 in August)

My son naps for a good 2-3 hours every day, and sleeps at night for about 11!

@blakeslatinmama, I’m not sure my pediatrician has always said if they wanna sleep let them sleep. I’ve heard if they sleep all day they won’t sleep at night but my son sleeps at least 2 hours in the day and wakes up at 6 but goes back to sleep after a drink and wakes up at around 8:30-9:00

That sounds normal to me. My son had a similar schedule at that age. Now he's 2.5 and he prefers to take a 4 hour nap. He just loves sleep.

See, my mom looked at me like I’m stupid and said yeah okay when I told her it’s fine that he naps like he does.

When Lily was that age she took a nap daily for two hours. Now she naps for about the same amount of time but she doesn't get them every day (not for my lack of trying). You're fine. Don't worry. Growing kids get far more tired than we do. Let them sleep.

My son takes one two hour nap everyday sometimes it’s a three hour nap.
