My husband just got our 6 year old her very own to teach her. Hoping to hit the lake this weekend. We had too many plans last weekend and hubby was on call for work
I want to take my youngest but we were on a paddle boat and she kept wanting to get up so idk if that's a great idea 😂. They both of course have and wear lifejackets that are coast guard approved
@nerdymommyplus2, my daughter is almost 4, we started last year, but only went once. She went once with me a few weeks ago and she did well again. We both have PFD.
That's good. I hate when I see people with "life jackets" on their kids and they aren't even PFD. Their just flotation devices for like pools.... But even in pools shouldn't be trusted 🤦

I totally recommend the puddle jumper infant one. My daughter finds it comfortable. Floats them head up. And has a handle to grab them if they fall in
