Someone tell me how to get my son potty trained. He is 4 and he wakes up dry every morning, he can hold his pee and pee a lot at once, he knows when he pees and poops but he just puts up a huge fight about underwear and actually sitting on the potty. Asks for a diaper or pull-up constantly. I just can’t with this power struggle.

Get him excited about school and tell him school doesnt let kids come if they wear diapers all the kids have to use the toliet.

@tyrellp, we’ve tried that. He’s excited to go to school but it’s not enough incentive. Husband finally got him to put his underwear on and he sat on the potty for a few minutes. I think it’s just going to take a lot of bribing and forcing him. My daughter happily put her panties on and sat on the potty. He’s just a stubborn child all around.

Take him to the school he will be attending let him see the school show him the bathrooms the classrooms and the playground that could help if he could see what school is.
