Won't drink milk
My lol is a year old and refuses to drink cows milk. He's been end. I still nurse him in the evenings and whenever we're together.

We don't need cows milk at all. There's plenty of ways to get other healthy fats and nutrients in our diets.

As long as he is breastfed 3-4 times a day he doesn't need any type of milk.

Try almond milk, coconut milk, or cashew milk.

Mayenburg Goats Milk or Similac Go and Grow Toddler Formula. My son drinks the latter, I have a friend who gives her daughter Goats Milk because she claims it's healthier. (Which I don't doubt at all.)

My son was the same way, probably up until 16 months old. Dr was okay with him not having milk because I was still nursing him 4-5 times in a 24 hour period. He got his dairy through cheese and yogurt. Tried him on cottage cheese but he didn't care for it. My guy is little, has always been in the 5th percentile for weight, so the doctor said to just add some healthy fats to his veggies to up his calorie intake, not to make him gain wright, but because fat is needed for brain develpment. So I would Sautee his veggies with a little bit of olive oil, or put a little bit of real butter on top, nothing crazy or unhealthy, just enough to add some hidden calories. Now that he's almost 22 months and eats more of a variety of foods and will drink 2 cups of milk along with his serving of cheese,I don't have to add the extra fats to his food.

Try hemp milk. It has a lot of healthy fats. I know a few vegan/ vegetarian families that use it for that reason.

I don't give cow's milk at all. They don't need it. If you're worried about nutrition make some smoothies. I have a baby bullet and a squeeze station so I mix up smoothies and make my own squeeze pouches. I mix yogurt, fruit, and spinach and kale. Ds loves it. It's an easy way to get some nutrients in them. My son is a very picky eater too. He is still breastfed but I quit pumping when he turned one. That was 4.5 months ago.

@Gensing I get the Meyenberg goat's milk for ds. He has to have milk at daycare so I send that because I don't want him having cow's milk.

Also just throwing this out there. Don't try several milks at once. If you try almond milk wait a while before trying another. I found out my son is allergic to all nut milks and hemp milk, so I would be cautious about that.

I work all day so im only nursing at night. I don't think his dad is giving him enough of a variety of foods during the day. He doesn't really cook. He just let's lo drink a lot of juice and I hate it.
If I get soy or almond should I get the sweetened?

Smoothies are a great idea!

I'm more concerned about whether or not he will grow properly

Maybe you can pre make meals for DS the night before so SO can feed him what you prepared.
And I would get unsweetened. The added sugar in sweetened is unnecessary for a 1 year old.
