I pick baby up whenever he cries. Sometimes he will sit or lay by himself for a few minutes but most of the time he wants to be carried/ held all the time. Jeff will put him in his bassinet and let him cio but I dont like to do it and don't allow it when I'm home. Baby is five months old. Will he be like this forever? Everyone says I'm making him spoiled. I just want him to be happy and sell adjusted. What do I do?

Start laying him on the floor and walking away but still in his line of sight. When he cries tell him "mommy will be right back, one minute" in one minute go back to him and say "see, mommy came back". Have a happy tone like it was completely normal. He has to gain confidence that you're going to come back for him

My first was like this, I always held him. You can never hold a baby too much in my opinion.
My son is now 5 years old and very independent, don't get me wrong he is still a mamas boy but doesn't need me to hold him 24/7 anymore ?
Enjoy holding them while they let you?

Yes he will out grow it. I have a cousin that was like this. He had to be held 24/7. If you put him down even for a second he would scream until you picked him. But once he learned how to crawl that phase of life was completely over.

My daughter is 5 months and is attached. You can't spoil a baby, food spoils. Your baby needs you, they don't just cry for fun. One day he will be refusing your hugs and you'll want it all back. I'd invest in a baby carrier ! :)
