I can understand the excitement!! My son will be 4 in September and just started pooping on the potty even though he has been potty trained with peeing for almost a year 😓

@michellemybell09, yes my oldest was almost 5 before he started pooping in the potty so for my 3&1/2 year old to do it so soon was shocking. I’m so excited for him. We went to the toy store so he could pick out a toy he wanted

@ss3mom, yeah honestly I was shocked my son decided to start going as well I thought it would take much longer for him because he just seemed scared of it. That’s awesome! I also rewarded my son as well he was so proud of himself and so was I.

That's great!!! I'm so happy for you all! I'm still working on my 3yo. He gets the process but I think he gets lazy 😒 he'll have days with zero accidents and some days he'll use up like, 3-4 diapers.. like, wtf kid. Lol

@kimtee, he still wears the pull-ups at night just because I’m afraid the one time I don’t put it on he will have an accident. But I’m not buying anymore. So once we are out we are done. Not to mention he’s always had problems pooping. So pooping in the potty he’s pooping a lot better

@ss3mom, yay I would also be celebrating I’m almost close to with my 3 year old son he has about a month already that he is being potty training and we only put on pull ups once he is asleep or we go out but their hasn’t been no accident at home what so ever. I’m also so surprised to that my older son took a long time for him to start potty training & it was faster for him too.

My son was the same, peed on the potty for ages before he pooped on the potty. I'm not sure what the hang up is with that, but it seems to be fairly common for boys. Congratulations to your on-the-potty big boy! 👍👍

My 3 year old dd needs him to give her tips 😂 She pees if I ask her to and she has to go. She rarely has a pee accident because i encourage her to go throughout the day. She also wakes up dry and can sleep in undies. But she straights poops wherever she is. Today it was in a swimsuit (luckily out of the pool). Ugh.
