Wine while pregnant? Thoughts??? Anybody tried? Someone offered me a glass and I turned it down and she looked at me confused.
The results from drug and or tobacco use is not always apparent right when the child pops out of your body. Also, the saying, “I did it and my child is fine,” is one of the most ignorant things a parent can say.
Know better, be better, do better.
Or don’t and risk your child’s health. The choice is yours.
@sjanauary lol yeah i didnt find out i was pregnant with my son til i was 5 months... I was still having my periods.. no morning sickness nothing... but I was drinking and smoking and he came out just fine... of course once I when found out I was pregnant I quit everything cold turkey and immediately started prenatal but he a smart and awesome kid
I honestly don’t think it’s worth it. What’s a few months without alcohol in the grand scheme of things. A moment of satisfaction for something that could potentially harm your baby for life just seems so dumb to me. Like, yeah wine is awesome but you can have all you want in a couple months 🤷🏻♀️ Your decision in the long run but there is a reason they tell you not to.
No amount of alcohol is safe during pregnancy. You always run the risks. It passes right through the placenta and consumed by your baby.
Every OB I had said no alcohol at all not even in mouthwash. But it’s your choice
It's not a bottle so I think it's okay. It helps relax my uterus during contractions.
Its safe to drink half a glass of red wine once in awhile while pregnant. In europe pregnant women often drink red wine, obviously not in large amounts. Its one of those things like asian women eating raw fish while pregnant. In america we are told to stay away from literally everything. No deli meats, no smoked meats, no baths, no etc.
They say 4oz of red wine every once in a while shouldn’t hurt because it’s good for your heart. I would say don’t sweat it because in Europe they drink it all the time.
