Well was a waste of time my hair didn’t come out red at not even a lil 😭

Its your hormones. In September I bleached my hair to get purple on the ends and it wouldn't bleach. I tried 3 times and it barely took. Smh

I did the same thing when I was pregnant with my daughter. My hair came out purple-ish color in the sunlight. I naturally get red highlights during the summer

@3girls2boys, now that I think about it, my color didn't take after birth either! The color washed right out. My stylist didn't try again for several months.

@3girls2boys maybe the color red was too dark for your hair or the brand. I also agree this the other person. Hormones play a big part in our hair

@3girls2boys my hormones have been horrible. It's made my hair more dry which effects my eczema in my scalp and split ends are beyond crazy.

I didn’t know that about hormones ima wait a few weeks and go blonde @chelleyb93,

@3girls2boys female hormones are awful in and of themselves but add pregnancy and it can get much worse for us.

I know this first time after birth hair didn’t take @chelleyb93,

@3girls2boys if you're breastfeeding it can take longer for your hormones to regulate

@3girls2boys it was the girst time for me too and the first time I shed after birth. I was so angry.

It won't be red if you have dark hair, I'm pretty sure I mentioned this to you before. I've colored my hair red tons of times and my mom is a hair dresser. You have to lighten it first before you can go red.

So i would have to bleach it first then it would go red @mobo1992,

@3girls2boys yes, you would probably have to tone it a bit too so it's not too bright, I suggest going to a professional to get it done
