Laptop with alot of memory if it's on a cheaper side pick up external drive for 50.00 at walmart ... desktop has all the memory space you need... the size of the memory will either alow you to download more apps or really just surf the web
Depends what you'll be doing most. The macs are so versatile now that it's best to get a Mac air or even an ipad. I have a desktop because I game and do video editing but I also have an ipad for work and other internet browsing/photo editor etc

I'd recommended Toshiba if they still made them but my go to is hp.

I have an HP laptop and love it. I think I paid like 370 for it so it wasn’t super expensive

Hp went to Best Buy they sell open box laptops cheaper and work just the same as a new unopened one and you can get warranty on it as well
