It’s a possibility my son has it he’s getting evaluated next week 😣😣all this crying is annoying the dr even thinks he has it by his actions

@ralesshafelder, my sons doctor has said she thinks he has it for a long time but she said she couldn’t diagnose him til age 5 😑 I’m just not taking it as an answer anymore!!!!

@mommy_x3, till 5 that’s a lie you actually get diagnosed at the age 2 if continues that’s when they put child in programs to help them and you I know because my nephew has autism and my son acts so much like him

@mommy_x3, yes it is I just had a lady calling me to evaluate him for a behavioral program so that will be my 3rd person coming to house for therapy with him

@ralesshafelder, I hope it works out for him!! My son has been in speech and occupational therapy.. but they never really did anything with him but play 🤦🏻‍♀️

@mommy_x3, yes I’m dealing with that now he’s in speech and the occupational now and next behavioral after there’s supposed to be a autism place contact me my son is nothing but one so they can’t really tell me anything till he’s almost two but I already know he does to much of what my nephew has done bite you out of no where throwing tantrums and food and constantly crying out in public i bring snacks it doesn’t works so it’s kinda hard for anyone to watch him like I’m getting induced and his grandma like how long you gone be in the hospital 🤦‍♀️

@mommy_x3, because he cries too much May sound sad but I barely want to deal with it you hold him he gets down to cry and wants you to pick him up again or either he bites you

I need to have my 8 year old stepson evaluated. Hopefully, once he starts 3rd grade. He's high functioning, just has a lot of unusual obsessions and ocd type focals.

@ralesshafelder, ahh yeah my son still cries a lot and he’s nearly 4.. I get frustrated with that a lot, and he still doesn’t understand a lot of things but he’s very smart! I just feel like a lot of what he has going on could’ve been avoided if they would’ve gotten him the help he needed sooner!!

@lovelily, my son is the same! He’s very ocd but only with certain things

@mommy_x3 My ss has obsessions with very particular things for weeks at a time. Vacuum cleaners. Washing machines. Toy cars and trucks. It's all consuming. He sleeps with a toy car every night. It has to come with him to the bathroom. To the table. To the store. He will lay on the floor and study it. He will ask a million questions about it. He will want me to Google all the vacuum cleaners ever made. While most 8 year olds are out playing sports or tag, he's sitting on a bench absorbed with his new car or the truck across the street. Recently it was airplanes. He knows all the makes and models of every car or truck we pass. He knows all the airlines. He has to have all his toys lined up a certain way. He will literally melt down like a toddler if it is moved. 😐
