My toddler will not "share" with anyone. He straight up says "No, you can't have none" and continues to eat/play and smiles sometimes. Yet, he demands everyone else shares with him...We've tried modeling behavior, asking several times, fake crying...lol. Nothing works. Any tips or similar circumstances?

My 3 year old is the same way he will only share food thou. I try and get him to share his toys with his cousins but he gets so aggressive. I kind of bribe him also thou I say if you share you'll get a snack or new toy from the store. He is learning and getting better. So I asked him why he don't like to share he says that kids will break his toys

When kids don’t share, they get time out and I explain why they’re in time out, what sharing is, and why they need to do it.

Mine gets a time out for a few minutes or whatever the specific thing he won’t share gets taken away for the same amount of time. Depends on if he just says “no it’s mine” or tries to push the other child away also. I have a nephew that is only 2 months older than him and they are together all the time and both really struggled with this at the two year mark. My sister and I wanted to nip it in the bud early and happy to say they do a very good job at sharing now 😁
