Let me help some of you Mommies. I see that some do not know how to convert their weeks into months....🙄 Divide your weeks by 4. Ex: if you are 37 weeks that mean divide it by 4 which = 9 months and 1week pregnant. Because 4*9 =36 and you still would have a remainder of 1 left so that number left over is considered the weeks you are..... So that mean you are 9 months and 1 week pregnant. If you need help inbox me... seriously! #noshade #weareheretohelpeachother

Using your logic, OP, there are 52 weeks in a year. If I divide that by 4 (since there are 4 weeks in a month... again according to you) I’ll get 13 (this would be months)... instead of 12....
But there are 12 months in a year... not 13.... 💁🏾♀️ #justtryingtohelp
@amaliatamalia you are right but if you go by your ultrasound it will give a better figuration.
@queenmeeks you are correct ...Come at me correct and the same be given. Exactly it was for the ones who wanted to use the method. Why wait until I post to comment whether I'm wrong or not when I'm sure they have seen the post of females saying they needed help. That was the time to comment.
@reanasanders26 yes...people try to complicate it...
Saw your post so if I’m 32 weeks i will be 8 months right ?
@takesma it’s not that people who got “offended” didn’t know how to calculate it, it’s just the method your OB uses seems to be very nonsensical based on simple mathematic calculations. That’s all. You actually did throw bit of disrespect at people in a few comments, but I’m not here to argue that as it isn’t my fight to delve into. Like I stated in my previous comment, continue to rock with the method your OB uses for you. If someone wants to use it as well, so be it. If someone would rather use the methods stated by other commenters, that’s fine as well!
@lincolnsmommy18 I agree! I just hate that people take stuff so personal! It's really not that serious.
@takesma, I understand. It’s just so confusing. I think everyone should go by 1 thing. Instead of having us all out here arguing about it lol. I am just gonna go with the flow and he will come out when he’s ready lol.
@lincolnsmommy18 I guess it depends on your ob. Not saying it's wrong...it's whatever works for you and your doctor. This is my 3rd pregnancy and my ob has used this same method for all 3 pregnancies. So this is what I'm accustomed to.
I have been confused because my OB has been telling me differently. I actually made a post about it. I have seen multiple different ways and it confuses the heck out of me. I was doing it your way then had people come at me saying I was incorrect. My ob saying I’m 6 months because I am 22 weeks but me thinking I’ll be 6 months when I’m 24 weeks.
@queenmeeks I never said no one was wrong when I made my post. Go reread my post! I was just trying to help with the method that my ob uses because a young lady on here didn't know how to convert it. Please don't twist my words!! The only ones who got offended were probably the ones who didn't know how to calculate it.My .post is my post...not once did I disrespect anyone nor was it to embarrass anyone. That was the very reason I didn't single anyone out. I just made a general post.If they had come to me like adults and not kids than their opinions would have been more receiving.
If your OB uses this method, by all means rock with it, but don’t make it seem like everyone else has it wrong. By the way this post has been trucking along, it seems your OB and his or her method is the odd one out.
@lizology27_bb it's nothing I came up with....it's my ob method and it's common knowledge.
@takesma, you know... it MIGHT fit if you knew how to do simple mathematics and knew simple rules of standard grammar.... but since you don’t.... it doesn’t. But nice try 💁🏾♀️
@idontwant2bapie it doesn't matter you get the point and @lizology27_bb you bothered too? Why because the shoe fits you as well....😎
@idontwant2bapie, I wanted to know what a “show” was.... can u help me with that one?
@idontwant2bapie who's said dumb? Wrong post! If my post didn't apply to you than there's no need to get your panties in a tight. But maybe the shoe fits.
@wafflespancakes I use the method that my ob uses not Google! But thanks for trying. 😉
@amysbabies I agree! If there ob doesn't use the same method than so be it.
Guys- remember this post is about months of pregnancy. Let’s just agree to disagree and move on. Deep breaths 😀🤗
@oceanbabe424 stay in your lane because last I checked I was talking to her. It's nothing to explain. You just don't understand the method I use. Just say that. Use what you want....if my post didn't apply to you than keep it moving.
Using your logic, OP, there are 52 weeks in a year. If I divide that by 4 (since there are 4 weeks in a month... again according to you) I’ll get 13 (this would be months)... instead of 12....

@tacos4lyfe No problems here! You mad because I set you straight and you still can't comprehend the method. It's OK! Some people take a little longer to catch on. I understand you are still wet behind the ears. Mature then come for me!
@takesma, Again, how am I taking anything out on anyone? You are sharing misinformation and I was correcting you. I was not rude in anyway until you comment that I’m simple minded. Your original post was condescending along with all of your following posts. It sounds like you may actually be the one having trouble at home. But that’s none of my business. This is my last comment because it’s clearly going over your head why you are not 9 months pregnant yet. Anyone who reads your post can decide which makes more sense.
@tacos4lyfe I have no need to block you...some people just need to a little TLc and attention. I understand that you are going through some things at home and need someone to take it out on. I hope tomorrow is better than today. #blessing
@tacos4lyfe I can tell you are truly young minded. Per the ultrasound tech due to the fact that my due date changed. Ignorance is a bliss. So don't you look stupid now.!😂
@takesma, okay now I am laughing!! You didn’t realize that every Friday you are one more week pregnant until the doctor told you and I am simple minded? Okay... I tried 🤷♀️🤷♀️
@tacos4lyfe my method is used to break it all the way down to weeks and days . So because you are simple minded or the simple fact you don't comprehend it is your fault. But it doesn't make it wrong. will get the same answer you get just broken down to its simplest form.😉
@takesma, this is your post on a public forum... I am free to comment until you block me. I have not been rude. I simply posted the correct information for others to see since you are sharing incorrect information. I understand your method and I understand that it is incorrect. It’s a common misconception but be aware that is not the correct way to calculate months pregnant.
@tacos4lyfe does it matter wether you have seen it or not....this is my post. If you didn't need the help then you need to keep it moving. This is not my first rodeo. Read my post below and maybe you will understand the method better before you state I'm wrong.
@wafflespancakes it's not that difficult the method I use allows you to break it all the way down to days. example every Friday I turn another week...therefore I don't have to divide by 4. I am 36 weeks and 3 days meaning I'm 9 months and 3 days. Once my ultrasound was given and it was explained that every Friday i'm another week then thats what you go by and that's why it's easier to calculate by 4 and the extra days will count for them self as I have explained.
@takesma, I haven’t seen anyone post that they were struggling with figuring out months. This is the first post I have seen. Again, in your example, you assumed that there are exactly 4 weeks in a month and there aren’t.
@tacos4lyfe well if not and you seen that female were struggling with it then why didn't you make your own post to help them. But anyway it doesn't matter because if you look at the example the remainder will turn into weeks and break down into days based on what day of the week you turn into another week.
There’s really so many ways to count this, I just go by weeks! I remember:
4
4
5
4
4
5
4
5
5
For months and trimesters, since it’s not exactly 4 weeks each time.
Sorry but that’s incorrect. There are more than 4 weeks in a month. 4 weeks = 28 days. A month is 30-31 days long unless it’s February. The easiest way to figure out how many months you are is to take your LMP date and count the same date each month. For example, if your LMP was March 4 then today you would be 3 months pregnant because today is June 4.
