My son has hands feet and mouth how did I make his rash better? Or what do I do?

I think it has to run its course. Have you taken him to the doctor to see if they can give him anything?

@mari_momof1, I’m pretty sure it gets worse before it gets better. I’d give Tylenol or motrin if he’s in pain.

Hydrocortisone, aveeno anti-itch cream.

Aveeno Oatmeal bath, or breastmilk bath if you're still breastfeeding or know someone who is.

@mari_momof1, it does get worse before it gets better but just watch him Incase it takes a slight turn and something funky happens. If it gets worse and doesn’t get better stuff like that. I had a student in kindergarten get that and he was fine over a week and back to school the next Monday and you would have never known he had anything.

Online it says it can take up to 10 days to clear. In the meantime u can give ibuprofen or Tylenol as pain relievers. Cool treats like popsicles, smoothies, yogurt to soothe a sore throat. Anti itch lotion like calamine. And its very contagious so both you & him need to hand wash and keep away from others.

Awe poor baby, I have never seen it this bad, my daughter had it and lost her toe nails and finger nails. Hope your lo gets better fast.
