I really don’t want to be givin pitocin this time around and it seems like if you go to the hospital early, most likely they will. I told my doc already that pitocin is like my absolute last step. With my first, my water broke and I wasn’t having any contractions. They told me if I didn’t get the pitocin to try to speed up the process, I’d get an infection. If my water doesn’t break this time around and I end up just having contractions, I’m staying home as long as I can.🤷🏽♀️I really want a natural birth.

The tub is a good one, also if you have a yoga/medicine ball sitting and rocking on that helps

@raheemah05, yes I heard that they make you lay on your back so there are no incidents where the patient can hurt them selves and sue. I do think I was pressured and scared into gettin the pitocin. Once they said infection I freaked out.

I stayed home for 30 hours before going in. Showers helped

If your water breaks they try to hurry because you could get an infection try to wait as long as you can but it’s really for your safety because of the water breaking baby is no longer protected by the sac look it up so u can get more info..... good luck babe I too had to get pitocin and me pushing my baby was about 25 minutes
