Seriously stressed right now, turns out our child has hand foot and mouth....... And we have no idea when she got it

My friend just went thru the same thing with all of hers so I knew yours likely had it. She will get better soon mama, it's not too bad. Just keep her comfortable.

HFMD just went through my childcare. Can be very uncomfortable for littles. Any pustules in her mouth? Lots of liquids. Epsom salt baths and lavender EO (diluted for an under 2) applied to the hives will be helpful. Good luck, mama! Hope it passes soon! Both of mine had it at the same time over Mother's Day weekend.

😖 My daughter caught HFMD when she was around 7 months and I was about 7 hours away from home too visiting family. what was worse was not only did she get it but I caught it too (worse than most adults do) I got the rash and a very bad fever. it was definitely some of our hardest days together. We made a full recovery after, but I know how tough it is. Take it easy and get lots of rest. Don't leave the house unless you absolutely have to until the rash and other symptoms are gone as it can be contagious for a while. I hope you're recovery is quick 😊

@northwoodsmomma yesterday it was just red bumps on her bottom, and then by last night she had them all over. This morning she's got a few blisters on her legs, arms, and bottom. She won't let me see into her mouth but she will only eat or drink if its something cold

@1xmom, poor thing! My kiddos handled it pretty well. No pustules in the mouth either. Usually it's the worst for about 2-3 days. Hope it passes soon!
