No. I lost a big piece of mine at 34 weeks. I’m now 38 weeks and lost it again this morning. It can regenerate.

@sydneykay12 it can regenerate that's why just keep an eye on It if you start wiping and there's blood then go get checked

@sydneykay12 that can happen early to with my 3rd I dropped so early and still went 5 days overdue

@sydneykay12, I dropped around that time too. I was in preterm labor at 33 weeks but they were able to stop it with a shot. As of last Tuesday I was 3cm and 75% effaced, probably more by now. I wouldn’t worry too much unless you start seeing blood. My first was born at 34 weeks and couldn’t be stopped (I had a placental abruption that went undetected) so I was freaking out when I went into preterm labor at 33 weeks.

Not necessarily. Some people lose some of theirs in the 2nd trimester and it regenerates itself and they lose more again thru the pregnancy. Not a sure sign of labor. Bloody show and regular contractions are the best labor signs.
