Two kids will definitely keep you busy but I’m going from 2-3. My kids are 7 and 2 but my oldest was so helpful with her sister when she was born. Some days feel a little chaotic but a blessing nonetheless
Not as bad as people make it seem yes the first week is challenging but every one is getting use to another person and a new routine but for me it’s been pretty easy yes we have our rough days but I freaked out way more than needed
Definitely crazy at first! It takes a little while to find your footing but soon you'll be a well-oiled machine. I think the toughest part is trying to accommodate two different nap/bed schedules, but you'll work out a system!
While it's gotten a lot easier, I'm still not totally adjusted to life with 2. Like everything else, we have our good days and our bad. It's just really overwhelming some days...
My first was a breeze. Slept through he night almost as soon as he came home. Took to solids great. Laughed and played and loved life. I had a second. Life has been miserable. Zantac 3x/day, I happy all of the time, colicky and screams for hours on end. Sometimes I wonder if I made a huge mistake. It’s so miserable most of the time that I can’t wait for him to be older so I can live a half-normal life.
When I brought home baby #2 baby 1 was 3, it wasn’t bad actually. I had a strong sense of calm about me that rubbed off on them I’m sure. Even at 3 she wanted to help with most things and was such a good big sister. Naps are the tough part. Sleep accommodations is tough as we were still dealing with waking up at night and such from the eldest (big girl bed. Gotta love them :s ) But generally it wasn’t as bad as I thought too. I mean each sit. Is different though. It’s just a butt load more crazy love!
I think it depends on your age split. My boys were 21 months apart and the beginning was super rough for me personally. My baby was not a great sleeper and my oldest was still very dependent on me emotionally. He also couldn’t really walk and hold my hand so I ended up carrying both the car seat and my oldest lol. Now I am about to have my 3rd but my boys are 4 and 2.5 and much more independent. I am hoping for an easier transition...
