Y'all!! So on another app a lady posted that she had heard some ppl don't use baby wipes when their baby has just a pee diaper? Is this a thing? I personally use wipes at every diaper change, I just think there would be pee left behind if I didn't...

The only time I didn’t wipe for a pee diaper is if I had to change her in the middle of the night and she was sleeping.
We do not wipe for a pee diaper. There’s just no reason to. Urine isn’t sitting on their skin. And it’s sterile. To much wiping can actually cause diaper rash and skin issues for some babies.
I wipe my son every single diaper change. My mom friends who have boys thinks it's weird that I do
I wipe my child when he Pee’s because it’s a habit. I also use a mild soap and warm water after every poop change, unless we’re not home, but I don’t judge moms that don’t.
Ok thanks y'all I just had to make sure I wasn't tripping lol...my boys are my stepsons and I wasn't around when they had diapers. Having my first boy now and I was like wait...did I miss something?! Lol
I've never heard of not wiping during a change. I wipe my daughters stomach and thighs off as well when I change her just to keep her clean and especially now with the heat I feel like it cools her down.
My mother in law tried this with my little girl and I put a stop to that right away! My daughter gets diaper rashes so easy! Would you go without wiping? The babies probably wouldn’t like It either in my opinion

I figure as long as I wipe myself, I should give my daughter the same clean feeling. At least I don’t have to sit in it all day. I would feel bad not using wipes
I know a lot of moms who don’t lol . I personally think that’s laziness

Lots of mothers don’t. I remember a mommy group I’m in on Facebook literally almost got into a cyber fight about this lol.
I always wipe, every diaper sleeping or not.. reading some comments makes some sense though, but I will continue To wipe 🤷🏼♀️
