I want to try self tanning lotion and there are only like 3 videos on youtube about black women…

Do you tan naturally at all? I think everyone only has a certain amount of melanin so you might be as dark as you can get

@kambam oh i'm definitely done in the naturally tanning department. My face has changed but the rest of my body is a good 3 shades lighter which makes wearing dresses that show off my chest hard to do. That's why I wanted to try a tanning lotion or maybe even going to a salon because I had a dress I really want to wear to my baby shower but with a full face of makeup i'll be a good 3 different shades.

@kambam I also don't want to blend the makeup down my chest like I usually would because the dress is white and that would just be asking for a mess lmaooo. I know black women go and get tans at tanning salons there just isn't much info which sucks. Sorry for the long responses.

I'd look into getting sprayed by someone honestly. I always see people on Facebook mom groups offering their spraying services. Hopefully someone can find you a shade you want

@kambam I think that's probably my safest bet so I don't end up brown and orange haha. Never thought about checking Facebook. Time to see if anyone has info in my area. Thank you 😊💕
