I had my 1st drink last night, so I had to pump and dump! Over 6oz of my liquid gold 😖 😣
@mother.of.2, they get the job done ! I’ve been using them for a week now and haven’t had any problems with them !
@olivbee, @sunflowerfields, @crunchytxmomma88, @mother.of.2, @kambam, First off, I never heard of breast milk baths for babies !! Why have I never heard of this ?! Lol also, I figured it probably wasn’t super necessary but I’m a super light weight! I felt a bit woozy after my drink (it was strong). So I figured if I felt drunk, then my breast milk was no good. Even after a few hours I still felt bad bf’ing her. Now I know not to waste my bm ! Thanks ladies 💕
Everyone’s right, there’s reason to pump and dump. If you’re sober enough to drive, you’re sober enough to breastfeed even if you’ve had a drink the same night. Alcohol leaves your milk at the same rate that it leaves your bloodstream so when you are back sober, you can breastfeed. Your milk will be fine. If you have to pump for relief from pressure/pain then save it to add to your baby’s bath water! Don’t waste that good milk, girl!
Yes save for bath hunn. Also how are the parents choice brand? I was looking into them since I'll be breastfeeding and pumping for my toddler.
Alcohol appears and passes through milk the same way it does blood! You don’t have to pump and dump! If you give yourself time to sober up the alcohol in your milk will drop the same as it would in your blood!
