Hell ya, I’d inform the police. Since you can’t drive to the police station in Maine, obviously, I would get in touch with someone there and then email them all of the correspondence from dominos and from the bank if you have it. They then can pursue it for you.

Absolutely call the police, and I’m sure you already have but change your login details for anything else you may have stored online. Doing it twice in one day could be them seeing how quickly you’ll notice before they try for larger amounts.

This happens to me all the time. I think banks and credit card companies get law enforcement involved if it meets certain criteria. I used to work at a prosecutors office and we never went after these people unless it was a substantial amount and there was a pattern. This is why I always use my credit card for everything and pay it off in full each month. When my debit card info was stolen, it took forever to get my money back. But credit card companies tend to get the money back to you right away.

This happened to me with my brand new Td bank account. They took one month to refund my money. Over $200 in Pizza at a Mom and pop store. I was pissed! It had to be an inside job since it was the new account and not my other ones. 🤬 I’m sorry op. I left the bank after that, it was straight nonsense running around with them trying to get my money back. Transactions were in Florida

@leahdeere, I bet! I remember when someone took my card number when I called in for Thai food. The dumb lady read it out loud. A day or two later, I got a charge for $30 then $3,000 for stereo equipment from China! I was so mad. But the police handled it.

That happened to my mom she bought some lipsticks online and someone stole her card information and started buying stuff at the mall at NY. She contacted the police and her bank they returned all the money missing gave her a new bank account & card. As far as the person getting caught, they never told us anything about that.
