Story time.

Okay so my 4 month old has been a good sleeper and doesn't cry much so far. But she is moving on from the newborn stage and is much more alert now and takes more time to settle/ put to sleep. She also has a heat rash but I'm not sure if thats what's playing into it or not. She hasn't been sleeping great during the daytime for the past few days. Ive been having a hard time putting her to sleep and her staying asleep for more than 10mins. Today I gave her a bath to cool her off and just a diaper so the heat rash thing dosent fester. Trying to get her to sleep because shes been up for about 5hrs now, again keeps waking up after 5-10mins sleep. Soooo I thought about adding a white noise baby app to my phone. I can tell right away that shes listening to it and it got her attention. So shes in my arms and I'm looking right at her. Thinking okay this has to work, the reviews said so. How long should it take. 10 mins pass by and shes still wide eyed. So I though what if I pretend to sleep cause I'm looking right at her. But then shes only 4 weeks old what does she care. So shes looking right at me, white noise on, I fake like I'm falling asleep. Then I peek at her and she closes her eyes. What! Then I peek at her again and she opens her eyes to look at me. Then closes them again since my eyes are closed. Anddddd shes sleeping. Like really!! Fake sleeping got her to fall asleep. 4 weeks old. Babys are so amusing and so smart holy. Okay so I gotta fake sleep from now on, and white noise, it seems to be working for when she squirms it puts her right back to sleep. How do you ladies get your babys to sleep??
