My 2 year old only cuddles at night when he doesn't want to go to sleep in his room or when I have food. My 12 year old only cuddles when it's bed time or he wants me to buy something/give permission to go somewhere... I told them both, "it's all good cause there's a new baby coming in town", lol 😂
