Has anyone had to go to an ultrasound apt alone bc their so had to work?

I go to all my appointments alone because my husband works.

Yeah, well not alone, I invited my coworker. I have been to dr appointments alone though. I don’t mind it because I know he’s working and not just missing the appointment for some nonsense reason.

@angelfoodcake, I’m really upset about it... I feel like if I can manage to get off for all these apts he could at least come to the ultrasounds...

Yes I go to all mine alone but now that I'm down to my last couple I've been making mine later in the day so when my SO gets off work he can go with me.

I went alone to almost all of them, being in labor i could never do alone lol

A lot of times but the big ones he does come with me

I always went alone, never felt he needed to come.. Told him hes welcome but he pays most of the bills so 💸💸💸💸💸

With my first he went to all because work was slow but this pregnancy I've been to all alone with my son.

My SO came to 1 each pregnancy and I’m fine with that he works and pays the bills but I wanted him to see the baby at least once

Yep. My bf was working like 4 hours away so I went by myself.

I feel a lot better now thank you ladies I was feeling really down and I know I shouldn’t complain some mommies are having to do everything alone with no support at all from the dad I was just being a whiny baby😞

@mommynmotion,nah don’t feel bad I used to feel bad until I really sat back and looked at the situation because after every visit he does ask so what’s up how did everything go

I’ve been to all mine alone. My husband supports us all so he can’t afford to miss work. But I scheduled a 4D ultrasound with an outside service on a Saturday so we can see her live together.

Yes. So far I attended 3 out of 4 scans without my husband as he is away working. My mother accompanies me

Yes. The first ultrasound with this pregnancy my husband had to work- I went alone then back to work myself after. He made sure he took the next off and will be going to the 3rd as well. It sucks, but it happens! My last pregnancy he went to all the first ones, but at the end I had to have one every week- I don’t think he made one of those- well maybe 1, but at that point it wasn’t as big a deal.

I went to all of mine alone for my 1st born and gave birth to her without him because he was deployed. It was hard at first and I really do wish he was there, but it made me a stronger woman and mother being able to do it alone. I'm a really quiet and shy person, so even just scheduling an appointment for myself is a struggle but I did it. This time around I'm lucky enough to have him with me 😊

I've been going to my bpp ultrasounds i have weekly for the past 4 weeks by myself because my bf works. Luckily, tho, he's a teacher and tomorrow is last day of school so next week he'll be able to make them! He did take off work for my dating scan and the anatomy scan though, so that was nice :)

Hubby hasn't been to any appointments and I'm fine with it as long as he's there when our second born son arrive. His mom attends now that I have appointments on her off day it's all good lol

I was single last pregnancy and my husband is deployed for this one 🤷🏼‍♀️. He got to go to the very first one before he left though.

My husband made it to only 1 appointment this past pregnancy. He works 8-5 and my doctor office is open from 8-5 😩 The office was closed for lunch during his lunch time so there was literally no way he could make it unless he took off, which I felt wasn’t necessary. such is life ☺️
