When did you guys go for a hospital tour and did you have to ask for one or did your doctor set it up?

My first at 29 weeks they brought it up and scheduled it my second was a different hospital and I didn’t do it but they told me to call and set it up when I wanted to do it

I was 30 weeks. We had to set it up. Luckily we chose the tour that was included with the labor and delivery class, so we only had to go to the hospital once.

My hospital had classes ever 3 months. A tour was included with the classes. I was about 30 weeks when I took the classes. The hospital I am at this time is much smaller then the last so I did not need a tour. I had to schedule to take the class myself.

You have to set things up yourself not everyone needs or wants a tour of the hospital so they aren’t freely offered. In my hospital you have to take one of the classes offered for childbirth to get one. I personally didn’t need a tour since I delivered in the same hospital I’ve been creeping the halls of my entire life.

Give them a call and see what your options are. Have you registered yourself, sometimes when you have they ask if you want a tour!
