can I go to the pool with my 6 week old daughter? idk, splash and hold her in the kiddie pool or something. I can't wait…

@danyellehouse56, I would do research along with consulting your pediatrician. I just know at 6 weeks they have fragile sensitive skin. I think the first time I took my dd swimming was around 8 months but it was in a pond not a pool.

@glencoco do you think the chlorine would irritate their skin at 9 months(or should they be 1 years old at least?)

I wouldn’t. She’s not fully vaccinated at 6 weeks so you’d run the risk of her picking something up, and the chlorine would probably irritate her skin.

The only thing I would worry about is the harsh chemicals on sensitive baby skin.
