Does this look like the start of hand, foot and mouth or am I being paranoid? 🙈😫

She started with a temp yesterday that went as high as 39.9 but has had calpol and is currently down and at 37.7.

These are the only few spots she has on her body too x

Maybe just keep a eye on it when I read it up online it says it starts with temperature and spots start to break out and can be contagious for weeks after symptoms have gone hope it's not cause it looks very painful xx

If it is and the spots are out she'll be fine in 10days time. Their usually over the worst of it by day5. Hard to tell sometimes. Morgan had it all over his hands, feet and knees but none in or around his mouth. Max did though.

I’m affraid it does. I remeber when I had em they had little white heads on them

Thank you all. Can actually feel I’m getting stressed over it now. Her birthday is on the 8th and then we’re doing a joint christening/first birthday party on the 10th in which we’ve hired and paid for everything. Then possibly going to book to go on holiday for five days straight after on the 11th 😭😭

I just hope she’s going to be okay for it and not in pain or itchy or anything xx

She'll be fine by then. Both mine were allowed at nursery with hand, foot and mouth unlike chicken pox where their made to stay off until spots have crusted over. I kept them off for a couple days while they had a temp & weren't feeling themselves though. She won't be contagious in 10days time. Like chicken pox she's probably already infected people she's been around before the spots even showed.

@sara-lou86, thanks Hun that’s nice reassurance! I’m just thinking we’ve been at baby classes twice last week, play date last Saturday and had a play date on Tuesday. So hoping all the kids are okay, it’s such a domino effect 😫 xx

Yeh it really is. Usually one of mine gets something then within 2 weeks the other has it 🙈 Both mine have had a lot so their immune system should be amazing by the time their at school! Lol

Oh gosh, I'm hoping my boy won't catch it too, this couple of weeks is going to be horrendously busy. Ha oh you can but hope! Thanks for the advice hun xx

Do you think this is hand, foot and mouth? If so it shouldn’t get much worse right? She has like one or two spots on her hands and nothing on her face or in mouth xx

It's so hard to tell. Max saw 3 docs and they said it looked like hand foot & mouth but couldn't confirm it 100% The fact we had it going around the nursery confirmed it for me lol. Morgan never had any around or in his mouth. I guess he just had a mild case...
