I am not sure that there is such a medicine but I could be wrong. In my personal experience it can vary alot. We lost our first naturally at 8 weeks, bled for 8 days and my first period came exactly 4 weeks after the day I stopped bleeding. Our second was between 8-12 weeks and I needed medicine to help force the miscarriage but did end up having another natural miscarriage after 2 rounds if medicine, bled for 8 days and exactly 1 week after the bleeding stopped I had my first period. Our third loss was the most complicated, babies heart stopped at 3 months pregnant, d&c August 24th, 2 rounds of Cytotec a month later, repeat d&c Nov 3rd and 1 more round of Cytotec Dec 28th and I passed the last mass of calcified retained products. I had alot of bleeding in that 4 months but I didn't have an actual period. I ovulated 2 weeks later and I am now 5 months pregnant. I don't know if that helps at all.
Have you been checked to make sure there’s no retained product? It did take me longer for my period to start, because the hcg has to leave your system before your body can ovulate again, and then have a period. If you haven’t been checked, I would contact your dr.
@penelope127 No i have not been checked to see if there isnt anymore. I'm thinking ahead really because my periods are so irregular idk when they will come on sometimes it takes months
@mommyofacabrera, how long has it been? It added another 2-3 weeks to my cycle. I think after 6 weeks if it didn’t come that’s when your supposed to get checked by a dr and make sure everything is cleared out. It can cause an infection otherwise.
