I’ve never had an issue giving my baby girl medicine but have any mamas struggled with them keeping down their medicine? Any advice on how to prevent them from spitting it back out? My cousins little one is 11 months and they prescribed him an antibiotic but only kept about 2ml down out of 5..

Put it straight back in the gums then lightly blow on there face

Do it slowly, even if it takes five minutes.

If they take a bottle, detach the lid and put the medicine in the nipple and give it to them like a regular bottle, I had to give my daughter antibiotics as well and this was the only way she would take it

You can mix it in the bottle or hold their nose and give it to them in portions like count 5-10 seconds of pauses so it won’t taste as bad

They also make medicine dispenser pacifiers. You put the dose in and give to baby just like a regular paci. Our son did well taking meds this way
