Judgmental people on Facebook make me not want to announce my pregnancy. A girl I went to high school with announced she was pregnant with her second baby today. Same dad (which doesn’t matter really) but her due date is a day after her daughters first birthday. People are so shocked and telling her she’s going to have her hands full. I’m over here pregnant with our fifth and not looking forward to anyone’s bs.

Also saying you’re going to have your hands full isn’t being judgmental having a newborn and being pregnant is hard that’s life. Not every comment is a judgment

@iwannaplay, yeah but no one has said anything super positive to her. Why can’t people say “wow your kids are going to be super close” or something.

Because that’s actually not likely. I have a brother not quite a year younger than me he was born 5 days before my first birthday. We were raised side by side but we were never close. Even as an adult with multiple siblings there is only 1 I talk to on a regular basis and she’s 6 almost 7 years older than I am. And we didn’t get close until I was a teenager

Telling a person that things are going to be hard at first isn’t a bad thing. Leaving someone with false expectations is cruel though because if by chance her kids aren’t close and that’s all she hears she’s going to think she’s doing something wrong.
