Help! I'm 39 weeks preg. Starting yesterday my stomach has been constantly hard. It feels as if my stomach is very bloated and as if it's going to explode. It just feels like my stomach is stretched out to its max. Doesn't really hurt but def uncomfortable. I get crampy from here and there. However with my stomach constantly hard like this it's hard for me to time anything bc my stomach isn't softening/ releasing. Tried calling my doc today and they never called back. Idk if I should go to l&d with it being 30mins away from me. Idk if these are actual contractions? With my first I lost mucus plug then my water broke 8hrs later. I didn't feel contractions until they put me on pitocin. Also this pregnancy haven't noticed losing my mucus plug and my waters haven't broke.

I'm in the same boat and it's kinda freaking me out. I feel like with my other babies my contractions felt different but I'm worried I won't know I'm in labor. I've never experienced my water breaking and I only noticed losing my mucus plug with the first baby. I had a doc appt today and they said I'm measuring 2 weeks ahead but they didn't check my cervix..

I mean I never experienced my waters breaking on their own. The doc broke them both deliveries

I would go for a walk my stomach would do that when I had to much gas.

I'm sure you would know if you were having contractions. They feel like/start off as light menstrual cramps, then get way worse.
