I have a question for anyone who has been on progesterone you insert vaginally. When did you stop taking it? I had a appointment with my ob today. She said since I'm ending the first trimester and starting the second that I could stop taking it if I wanted to but to keep taking the baby aspirin and iorn till 36 weeks. I've had 6 losses before this pregnancy so I'm not sure if I should just keep taking it or not.

I started 14wks and I will stop at 37wks

I stated mine the day after my IUI and stopped it at 8 weeks
Oh ok make sense i was just curious . my husband gives me my shots at home and we should be doing them until I'm 36 weeks then she said well stop . I'm on them because my youngest was born at 34 weeks and 4 days on Christmas day 2016
I took it through the first trimester and stopped after that. Before i got on progesterone I had a stillbirth and multiple miscarriages. Now I have two living healthy boys.
@staciebeck85 they wanted me to take it just incase of blood clots. I've never been told that's why I had the losses but she figured it wouldn't hurt. So far everything is going good

I stopped second semester. It's usually not needed once the placenta has taken over. If it makes you feel better I guess you could take it for a couple more weeks.
I took pill form and stopped like 14 almost 15 weeks....I didn't have much left and just finished it @nicole844
