This is a good read ... trigger warning as far as it speaks about pedophiles, but I can’t believe how many people post their kids on a public app in the manner they do 😳😳

I've read this before. Makes me so sad. I hope more people read this and realize there are sick people all over the internet and you need to be careful about what you post.

I didn’t have time to read the link fully, but I skimmed. I’ll read it in full when I have the time.
It’s scary what kids can be exposed to with something as innocent as a photo. I do my best to protect my kids in any way I can, that’s why you don’t see pictures of them on here. Once you post it, it can’t be taken back.
Thanks for sharing!

I think this stuff is super helpful for a lot of reasons but honestly I feel like no matter what I do to protect my kids there’s always going to be someone that can still get through so while I don’t want to say I don’t care or screw it, I don’t want to kill myself making sure everything is blocked and locked down and don’t use hashtags just because some nasty predator might see it. I know it sounds terrible and I do want to keep my son and future children safe I really do! But I also want to enjoy his life and our experiences together more than I want to think about someone taking his pictures and selling them to a sexual predator. It’s sad that it has to come to this at all.

@k_nc, it’s a very scary time. Unfortunately we cannot protect them 100%, but don’t help a predator out by posting naked or semi naked pics of your kids. (You the collective you, not you specifically). Some of the pics I see leave my jaw hanging. To think that it is only moms on here and that these photos are safe is very naive and dangerous.

I know this is 4 days old, but I read it then and I can’t stop thinking about it. The police woman talks about that photo with the little baby smiling... it makes me literally sick to my stomach.
