I took mine. The nurses took care of her during my appts. Not because I asked, they offered because “they don’t get to see many babies” lol. Apparently not many moms bring their newborns. I didn’t take my first dd and my midwife was sad cause she wanted to see her. 😅

@glencoco I took my first because they told me to. But this time I had a diff doc and never said I had to bring her and was going to leave both of them with their Grandma.

@mckennasmommy, I was never told I had too. That’s strange. Maybe to watch for signs of ppd? Other than that, they’re obs not pediatricians so they don’t need to see the baby. Mine just liked seeing them, but I was never told to bring them because I had to.

@glencoco Right idk either. Maybe I will take the babe and leave my oldest. Be easier on my MIL and give her some quality time with her.

@doritochips Your brave. My oldest is going through terrible 2s and girl can throw a tantrum like no tomorrow and she isn't a quitter. Really can't wait till this phase is over.

I took both with me. I wore Finn up on my back and put Ellie in the stroller. Brought snacks for Finn and he munched in my OB's chair the whole appt.

@northwoodsmomma Kenna has been hell on wheels lately so I'm ok with leaving her with her MaGa (Grandma) 😂 They can feed the cows while I'm gone, less work for me!
