My daughter's been having trouble sleeping the past few nights because of the heat. She has a ceiling fan in her room, and tonight I put the window fan in to see if that helped, but she's still bothered by it. We have a window A/C but we leave that in the living room because that's where she is majority of the day. I'm wondering if I should get one for her room as well, but I don't want it to then be too cold.

You can get one but put it on low i think she will be fine she can cover herself with a blanket if ia too cold

@goingtobemotherof4babies You're right, I'd rather put a blanket on her which the A/C than have her be too hot. She HATES the heat haha just like me. We had central air when she was a baby, but we just moved to an older home so it's been a struggle.

@laniejay No idea and don't really know how to tell. It's not really that hot, it's just not cool like it usually is.

Our baby monitors have the temp on the screen, coolest feature IMO. We don’t put ACs in our kids’s rooms. We blast ours a few hours before bed which cools off all the bedrooms on that level then put their fans on and close the door when they go to bed. Keeps them cool and comfy.

@laniejay I haven't even unpacked that far yet lol her crib hasn't even been set up, she's in her pack and play temporarily. It has been a very rough move so we're pretty behind. That's a good idea though to put the A/C on a few hours before bed to cool down the room. I'm going to try that tomorrow for sure.
