I run a home daycare and have 3 other toddlers besides my son. He is constantly acting out for my attention but yesterday we went to a friends place and he was just going nuts. He lunged over a water table for a toy that another kid was playing with and ended up soaking wet....he basically just kept throwing himself on the ground in the backyard, crying because he wasn’t getting his way the whole time. Then I picked my daughter up from school with all the kids and she complained the whole way home about how hot it was...once we got into the house (and into the a/c) and I started making lunch, everyone started fighting and crying and my son wanted to be held and I just wanted to go to my room and close the door but unfortunately for us moms, that’s not usually an option....
Oh wait...the car getting fixed situation!! I remember something similar happening to me when my daughter was a toddler but at least there was a waiting room and I didn’t have an infant lol but we did have to wait there for like 5-6 hours and I was not prepared for it!!
@brynsmommie yeah they didn't even fix the car. Just diagnosed the issues so we have to go back next week. It has three problems and one is $700 to fix. Then we found ants in the house and we cleaned everything but we can't find anything in particular that they are after. On top of all of it my son had a bad colic day and he wouldn't let me put him down all day. He screamed unless he was being held by mom. Daddy couldn't even help when he got home. It was just a long day like yours. Maybe it's just the heat. It sounds like your kids were having a similar kind of day too. I wish someone would give me a time out in my room sometimes lol.
Awwww poor you! I never had a colicky baby but from what I’ve heard....it’s the absolute worst!!! I’m feelin for you and hoping you’re having a better day! My morning was great until my little guy wiped out at the park.... 😭

What happened with yours?? I can imagine it must be so difficult with a newborn and toddler whose used to all your attention
