any tips on how to potty train a non verbal almost 2 year old? She doesn't talk yet but I'm hoping to only have one.kid in diapers at a time, baby due in august.

She doewnt usually understand what I say, but she's starting to with some things

BD mom just put them on the toilet and sat there with them until they peed or pooped (I’m imagining it took forever..) and then praised him for going in the toilet. With my sister we just got a tiny potty and started training her on that and then switched her to the big potty

If she doesn’t understand you, I would say it’s too early.

I taught my son when he was non-verbal at 2. It can be done! Try to use sign language. Kids catch on quickly!
