Charlies woke with a awful snotty cold... I feel like he gets a cold every other week!! In the past…

@ezchaz charlie had next to non by the time he turned one... now constant. I think its coz i thought with him being 1 id take him more kid places and now he picks it all up xxx

My little boy is a similar age to yours and he's forever getting colds. It's completely normal at this age as they are into everything x

@laurabump27 If he's really bad like sleeping all day then I do - a few times he's had chest infections. If he's just coughing and runny nose then I don't x

@carlybeanw how can you tell the difference.. I'm so scared of chest infections!

At the minute hes sneezing alot... really runny nose and just groggy hes still playing but doesn't want to eat hardly xx

@laurabump27 the cough sounds different with a chest infection & his breathing changes like he's breathing from his tummy rather then his chest. He probably doesn't want to eat because of his blocked / runny nose. Takes away the taste of the food. It does sound like a cold to me, you can call your doctors & ask for a call back rather then taking him in. They will tell you if they think he needs to be seen or not x
