@leroydoom, ugh people are just disgusting. And I think if we had a boy instead of a girl I could convince my husband we only need one. But he wants a boy so bad. And maybe if they weren’t so exhausting in the beginning. Lol.
@princessrose yes, those are my thoughts exactly! I have heard people actually say, "go play with your brother/sister, that's why we had him/her!" and I cringed inside.
@leroydoom, I also think it’s on the parents part to keep them social. So having another human being to take care of just to “give them a friend” sounds like a dumb reason. I just love my daughter and I think all my energy goes to her and I don’t want to split it.
Its pretty ridiculous, my kid is super friendly, is a social butterfly, has a little girl he has play dates with, is only a little spoiled by everyone but me 😂
I think having more than one kid when you aren't financially stable (I'm disabled as well) like in my case would be super irresponsible.
@leroydoom, I thought you were saying that to me. I was like omg. Hahaha yeah I’ve had people say similar to me. I just think what works for one family doesn’t work for another. I had two brothers and I wouldn’t trade them for the world but idk how my mon did it.
Oh, because your child will be socially awkward, you're depriving her/him of that special sibling bond, he/she will be lonely, he/she will be spoiled. You say you only want one now, but you'll change your mind.
😏 ^ All the BS I've heard.
Go for just the one! This world is so overpopulated anyway!
