I have a question, I'm sorry if it's a silly one, but I kind of would like to know.

When my daughter was born, it was a Wednesday. We started breastfeeding and in the hospital she seemed to be doing great. We were discharged the next day on Thursday and she stopped eating, we both seemed to be getting frustrated, and she wasn't peeing anymore. To the point I could barely even get her alert enough to eat. So on Friday we called her pedi and they told me to try some formula, and so we did. I wasn't liking the fact she wasn't alert so we took her to the ER. There they asked if I wanted to give BM or formula and because my anxiety was so high, and my milk wasn't in I decided to do formula so I knew what she was getting. So from Friday afternoon until probably Sunday she had formula. Until a nurse told me I could just pump and give it to her that way if I wanted. (I was new to BF so had this lovely nurse not told me this my BFing journey would have ended right there.) So since being released that Saturday from the hospital I started pumping and stopped giving her formula. And just bottlefed her so I knew what she was getting, until maybe a week or so later after a few attempts she finally latched.

Fast forward 8.5 months and she doesn't take bottles, and hasn't since a couple weeks old, everything is from me and she hasn't had formula aside from that 24 - 48 hour period when she was only a couple days old. So does that mean I can say she is EBF and that I have EBF her from birth? Or no? Since for those couple first days after she was born she was given formula? 🤔
