Ladies, question... My baby shower was this weekend and my husbands cousin flew into town for the event. Now they are both smokers so they are constantly going outside to smoke and stay out there for some time while I'm inside taking care of my son. Now at the baby shower they kept taking pictures together excluding me and the single pictures his cousin took of me where very unflattering and my husband called them "action shots". However, there are plenty of pictures of them that came out nice. But what really upsets me more is this picture and how my husband has his arm around her while holding my son as if they are a family, instead of us. Am I just being silly and hormonal? Please let me know cause I'm soo upset with him over this. And when I showed it to him he just said "are you jealous of my cousin now?" like really? that's the response I get?

First & foremost you’re beautiful!! I can def see how annoying them going off to smoke was bc my sister & bff did the exact same thing at both my shower & my daughters 1st bday & I was livid. Now while his arm is around her, he’s leaning towards you so his body language is still showing his love & attachment to you. I think he was giving her attention bc she flew in so he must not see her very often. But being pregnant & hormonal I can see how it would make you feel.

It looked like she hopped in at the last minute and he was making her feel "apart of the picture"... It doesnt look like he purposely left you out at all. And that's true he couldn't embrace you guess your son was in his arm... don't look too much into it. You look beautiful btw and I'm sure hubby loves you too pieces.

Well your son is in his arm, so he wouldn’t have been able to put his arm around you. Although his arm is around her pulling her into the frame, his body is angled and leaned towards you. Don’t put too much thought into that.
As far as the bad photos, you have two choices — talk to her or let it go. The day is over now so there really isn’t anything you can do to remedy it.
Being stuck inside taking care of your child while they smoke is annoying I’m sure, so just talk to your husband about that!

Hormones will make you feel all kinds of ways. Smokers fr, they band together real tight at parties. And I'm not sure how close they are or how long it's been since they saw each other and it looks like everyone is having a good time....so take it as "family fun". Try not to read too much into it.

The cousin excluding you from pics unless it's unflattering is annoying af, I know how that is since my husband's family does it to me 😂 but I think you're looking too much into this picture. Take off your edit and save the picture. In the long run you will probably remember all your family/friends celebrating your baby.
