I think it’s possible for some people. And not possible for others. Just like adoptive parents don’t always love their adopted children like their biological ones.

Absolutely My step mom has been in my life since I was 2 I’m now 26 and she treats me like her own. Now that I have kids she spoils them to death they are her grandkids. I got very lucky
