I know this might be a stupid question but I have to ask all my deliveries have been vaginal and since the possibility of csection has come around I have to ask this “Dumb Question” do you still bleed as heavy after the baby is born like u would get ur period

Yup. I bled after my csection for several weeks just like you would a vaginal birth

You bleed the same because postpartum bleeding is caused mostly by the healing of where the placenta was.

I didn't bleed to much 🤷🏼♀️ but I've never been a big bleeder don't know if that has anything to do with it. In fact I didn't start bleeding for about 5 days after the c section and even then I only bleed for about 2 weeks lightly.

I bled for exactly 35 days!! Took forever to completely stop. But the heaviest was the first week then it became like a light period.
