So today marks seven years of marriage for Brian and me. Things have not always gone perfect for us. We weren't dealt a perfect hand. It's been filled with struggles but every day we both show up. Today Brian worked on adding texture to the drywall he put in last weekend while I took care of the kids at my mom's. Then he rushed over to stay with Nathaniel while I took Aria on the boat to have our very own Mommy and Aria day since she has been struggling with the lack of time and attention I can give now that I have to be shared. We came home and he bathed Aria while I entertained Nate and then we switched and I got Aria in bed while he entertained Nate. Finally, we sat down to watch a movie together and I look over after less than 5 minutes and this is what I see. There are reminders every day of why I love him, often more than just one, but here in this moment I know a lifetime won't be nearly enough with him.
