I’m so excited to finally say my son is completely potty trained!! He had this funny look on his face and I go what’s wrong and he runs to the bathroom and pulls down his pants climbs on the toilet and pooped all by himself!!! He has been pee potty trained for about a year but pooping has been a struggle.. but sooo happy right now! His birthday is next week and he negotiated with me that if he doesn’t have anymore poop accidents and only goes on the potty he gets a battery powered quad.. tough negotiator but so worth it if it works!!

How in the WORLD did he start pooping in the potty?!?! Please tell me because I'm desperate over here!

I guess the only thing that has changed to make him go was I gave him a dead line (his birthday) and said if you don’t go potty in your pants anymore and only use the potty to pee and poop in then I’ll buy you a quad (battery powered of course). It’s $250 but so far it seems to be enough of an incentive for him to want to be potty trained.. and in order to keep it up I just tell him that if he goes in his pants again the quad gets returned..
